Sir, – I was amused by the comparisons made by both contributors in “Are holidays in Ireland still ‘a rip-off’? Georgina Campbell and Conor Pope debate the issue” (Opinion & Analysis, May 21st). Conor complains, rightly in my opinion, about paying €3.60 for a coffee, while Georgina lauds coffee and a biscuit for €5.50.
That must have been some biscuit for €1.90. – Yours, etc,
