Sir, – Fintan O’Toole’s analysis of our judicial system’s lenient treatment of violent men is as powerful a piece of writing as I have seen in The Irish Times in a long time (“Cathal Crotty’s suspended sentence another example of how judicial system is failing women”, Opinion & Analysis, June 25th).
This article should be mandatory reading for every politician and member of the judiciary in the country. – Yours, etc,
