Sir, – Liam Stenson is right to decry the price differences between here and Spain (Letters, September 18th).

However, for balance, I feel I should add that I paid $4 for a small bottle of water in Seattle yesterday.

I didn’t even get to finish drinking it as I had to dump it pre-security in the airport. – Yours, etc,
