Sir, – The reflective pieces you published on Wednesday, October 23rd, written by Michael Harding (“I see my old friend on Facebook. I stare at his page but I don’t say hello”) and Laura Kennedy (“When you are away the gap is more than geographical”), that touched on friendships and distance, memory and kinship, life and loss, were a tonic to my soul in these troubling times.
