Sir, – In “Is remote working just another fad or actually good for productivity?” (Business, November 25th), Eoin Burke-Kennedy quotes author Malcolm Gladwell to question whether sitting at home in pyjamas is the kind of career we envisioned.
It is an interesting point.
For too long, we’ve been accustomed to enduring lengthy commutes to and from work. However, the ability to work from home (WFH) has become one of the most sought-after benefits by employees worldwide, not due to laziness but because it enhances our lives by promoting a healthy work-life balance.
The WFH concept is still evolving.

More effort is needed to boost the productivity of remote workers.
Although Eoin Burke-Kennedy highlights several factors he believes are detrimental to working from home, I am confident that, with the right mindset, these challenges can be overcome. – Yours, etc,
