Time to consider age-friendly parking spaces

Designated spaces for the elderly would be a welcome move

Sir, – In all our local supermarket car parks, while there are family and disabled spaces, I have never seen an “age-friendly” designated space.

I am like so many people I see struggling to walk into the shops – of a certain age with a knee replacement and arthritis. However, I don’t qualify for a disabled badge. – Yours, etc,

GILL McCARTHY,

Shillelagh,

Co Wicklow.
