Sir, – In common with Frank Byrne (Letters, October 15th), my emergency information booklet suffered some water damage on delivery. The fault lies with our wall-mounted letterbox, which lets in some water.

Alas, this particular emergency is not covered in the booklet. – Yours, etc,
