Sir, – On page 16 of The Irish Times I read of Herbert Asquith's correspondence with Venetia Stanley (Chris Dooley, "John Redmond's legacy should be studied not distorted", Opinion & Analysis, April 25th). On the following page I read of Asquith's correspondence with Sylvia Henley (Mary Russell, "An Irishwoman's Diary", April 25th).
