Sir, – When I took in my first car for a first fill of “juice”, I had to put in five gallons at 50 pence per gallon, for a grand total of £2.50! Now a full tank full is over 80 of these new-fangled euro, at nine of them per gallon, which is nearly what I paid for the old car back in the day! – Yours, etc,
