Sir, – I read with interest the article on customers' ratings of companies ("They went above and beyond", October 25th). I thought Revenue staff should have been in a very high position for best customer service.
I have had dealings with several different sections of Revenue over the past few years and I have obtained excellent service every time. The staff have been courteous, patient, efficient and had the complete knowledge to deal with any query I asked. They went over and above to help me with some difficult queries.
I would consider Revenue by far the best customer service providers in Ireland. The phone personnel are very well selected to be dealing with the public which can be very difficult at times.– Yours, etc,
