Madam, - Who came up with the ignorant and pompous idea that couples who bring one bottle of wine to someone's house are mean (The Index, Magazine, March 25th)? Have today's journalists entered the B-list category of the celebrity circuit?
When I invite couples to my house, I prefer them to bring their personalities. I don't check them at the door for the quantity of alcohol, the price tag on their clothes or the present value of their houses. - Yours, etc,
