A chara, - On May 8th I noticed that a window pane at the No. 17 bus terminus at Blackrock DART station had been shattered. As it had not been cleaned up by Monday morning I reported it to the local street cleaner. The street cleaner was willing, but told me his superiors at Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council instructed him not to clean it up - that it was the responsibility of Dublin Bus.
I telephoned Dublin Bus on Monday afternoon and they said that it was the responsibility of Adshel - the company that maintains Dublin Bus bus shelters.
One week after the glass was smashed it has yet to be cleaned up. This is just the typical attitude of State agencies in this country. - Is mise,
