Sir, - Having watched Tuesday night's BBC programme about the abuse that Father Brendan Fortune inflicted on young boys, I feel deeply grieved that, even now, after all this time, the Catholic Hierarchy can still not admit its liability in knowingly protecting such men from the rigours of lawful inquisition.
