Sir, – According to the representative of the Irish Solar Energy Association, sunshine is not intermittent. The sun does not shine at night. Cloud coverage in Ireland is almost impossible to predict. If that’s not intermittent, I do not know what is! And unfortunately, pretty much the same can be said for wind. – Yours, etc,
