Sir, - I am writing in reply to all the people who say that Dublin is the place to be for clubbing and pubbing. I would like to know why they think it is so good.
The bouncers, for example, are nothing more than wannabe action heroes; they think they own the clubs. How many times have you heard:
"Sorry, no runners";
"Sorry, passport ID only";
READ MORE
"Sorry, we're full";
"Sorry, membership only"?
All over the world people are talking about coming to Ireland to have a good time. I ask: is it just for the tourists? Are Dubliners not entitled to have a good time too? - Yours, etc.,
Danny Murphy, Wesbury, Stillorgan, Co Dublin.
