Sir, – I feel Michael Walsh may have missed the point in regard to the woman who virtue-signals her driving of her children to school in an eco-car (Letters, June 23rd).
Unless I have picked it up wrong, this is the first vehicle that runs solely on smug condescension and a sense of entitlement. A wonderfully infinite resource that will allow the middle class to transport themselves around the place with no sense of bourgeois guilt. – Yours, etc,
