Madam, - The report that there is to be another sale of historical documents by Mealy's and Adam's later this year is disturbing (Fine Art & Antiques, February 10th). It is so important that documents of this nature are either given on loan or donated to one of our national archives.
It is a shame that some dealers are profiteering from the sale, at inflated prices, of important manuscripts and memorabilia. - Yours, etc,
