Madam, - The National Newspapers Of Ireland (NNI) may want to pore over its advertisement on page 3 of Tuesday's edition. The last time I checked, the verb "to pour" means to flow or to cause to flow, not to study closely, as was presumably intended.

Perhaps Creative Challenge applicants, who were being offered an extended deadline to "pour" over their entries, are not the only ones who need more study time.
