Sir, – Sunday was the first day I was eligible to get a booster vaccine, so I hopped up on my bike to be out at the local vaccination centre, the WIT Arena, as soon after they opened as possible.
Unfortunately half the bloody county had the same idea!
I was told the wait could be three hours, but I decided to stay. My deepest thanks to all those members of staff, medical, administrative and stewarding, who managed to clear such a long tailback in such as a calm, professional and good-humoured manner.
