Sir, – On the back page of Saturday’s News Review in the Barometer corner, I noted with some surprise that Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand’s prime minister, is labelled as having a bad week due to an admittance that perhaps the New Zealand Zero Covid policy had failed. I don’t see it as a bad week when finally we hear from a politician who, with integrity, puts up her hand and says “I got it wrong”. – Yours, etc,
