A chara, – One good thing about being an Eir customer is that my landline hasn’t worked at all for the last six months. Repeated emails to Eir have been ignored; and I gather, even if I was able to use my landline, I would face long wait times on hold.
I gave up and the phone sits there, so much useless junk, though I’m still being charged for it all the same.
Not having a landline has meant that scammers sweeping the country have been unable to call me and scam me, not that I would be in the habit of giving out personal data to an anonymous caller anyway.
