Sir, - I read in your business supplement of November 10th that IFSC chiefs can now earn £200,000 a year - and why not, if they can get it?
In contrast, I am in receipt of a contributory old age pension of about 4.4 per cent of the above sum per annum. Is there anybody capable of explaining, clearly and gently, to Mr McCreevy that the small increases we have received over the past two years have been largely cancelled out by the present inflationary period? - Yours, etc.
