Sir, – Speaker Nancy Pelosi says that US politicians are "not taking sides" in protecting the Northern Ireland peace agreement (Home News, April 17th).
Will she clarify then that the imposition of a border in the Irish Sea as a consequence of Brexit would be as much a breach of that agreement as the imposed hardening of the land Border, with the same implications for future UK-US trade?
Such clarification would help Westminster politicians understand the consequences of their decisions. – Yours, etc,
