Sir, – Automatic enrolment of younger people in pension schemes has been delayed for no good reason.
The age at which people receive the State pension must be increased; at the same time, both the public and private sectors must allow people to continue to work into their late 60s, and later, if willing and able to do so. Insurance companies must be forced to insure older people. In short, a lot of planning is on hold. Perhaps the Pensions Commission could hurry up with its already delayed report? – Yours, etc,
