A chara, – Your editorial (June 6th) concerning the British monarch fails to mention one point of relevance to many Irish people.
The head of state of the neighbouring island is forbidden by law from being a Catholic.
This is an insult to all British Catholics.
It is nothing short of a disgrace that such a sectarian law still exists in a country calling itself a democracy.
