Madam, - Thank you for publishing John J Kidney's letter of November 27th. His suggestion that Queen Elizabeth should be invited to the Republic and that Cobh be renamed "Queenshaven" (which I assume will be pronounced to rhyme with "clean shaven") was absolutely hilarious.
