Sir, - Alice Johnson asks (April 4th) if there is any good reason why there are no seats on the platforms at Dublin's Heuston Station.
Surely the reason is perfectly obvious: people would only sit on them - just as they would sit on seats in extra carriages if they too were provided for the convenience of the travelling public. - Yours, etc.,
