A chara, – On watching the Hurling League match on February 17th between Kilkenny and Limerick, I was struck by both teams’ strips. The shirts, shorts and socks all matched but the choice of helmets seemed to be left up to the individual players, with none matching. In American football and ice hockey all the helmets are matched to the teams’ strips. Why is this not the case with the GAA? And don’t get me started with the boots! – Is mise,
