Sir, – I have noticed Christmas trees piling up at recycling centres over the last few days, with their lovely aroma still hanging in the air. It’s a pity that Christmas appears to be discarded so soon, in advance of Little Christmas on January 6th. It would be nice to hold to the traditional 12 days. – Yours, etc,
