A chara, – It can be hard to stomach the continuous faux ire of farmers and the IFA, this time in relation to "Meatless Mondays" ("Farmers fume over advice to reduce dairy and meat consumption", News, April 4th). At one time in this country, the nation only ate fish on a Friday, although due to religious rather than climate reasons. If my family chooses to eat chicken on Monday, risotto on Tuesday, and hake on a Wednesday, that is no business of farmers. – Is mise,
