Madam, - I agree with the sentiments expressed in your Editorial "Your Only Man" (February 14th). However, your paper's record in the matter is far from perfect. When I first began to buy pints of stout the price was one shilling and four pence. The Irish Times cost two pence. One could therefore buy eight copies of The Irish Times for the price of a pint. According to the present prices for pints quoted by you, one could now buy fewer than three Irish Times's for the price of a pint.
It would appear to be a case of motes and beams in eyes, to quote the Good Book. - Yours, etc.,
