Sir, – I enjoyed Dr John Doherty's suggestion(March 25th) regarding the flesh-eating fungus troubling the Conservative Party. I fear, however, that they are beyond the help of even the most potent antimicrobial therapy. As the party's thinking on Brexit is dominated by "swivel-eyed loons", a psychiatrist may be more effective. – Yours, etc,
