Madam, - John O'Shea (August 12th) is justifiably angry at the international response to the Darfur crisis. But why single out (scapegoat?) the UN? After all, it is no superstate or imperial power. Its members are its masters.
Perversely, while the world withholds security from the vulnerable victims of Sudan, it spends over a billion euro on security for the Athens Olympics. Priorities? - Yours, etc.,
