Sir, — In response to Finn Hogarty (Letters, November 3rd) critical of Una Mullally. Were those protesting the demolition of Georgian Dublin in the 1960s – the jewel in the crown of architectural Dublin – anti-modernist reactionaries? How about those who accelerated the removal of the old tramways in the 1940s, were they merely partaking in the natural evolution of the city?
