Sir, – I see that a second Starbucks has just opened on the suburban village of Blackrock in Co Dublin. It is less than 20 yards from, and on the same side of the main street to, an existing Starbucks. There are also two Starbucks practically opposite each other on the same street in Dún Laoghaire.

I hope we don’t have to wait long for our two in Monkstown. – Yours, etc,
