Following its outstanding success in 2024, which saw almost 20,000 guests in attendance, the Nevo Electric Vehicle Show in partnership with Bank of Ireland is back at Dublin’s RDS this November. With a wider programme, bigger displays and more vehicles, the 2025 event is set to be better than ever.

An exhilarating showcase of all things electric, the Nevo Electric Vehicle Show was launched on the back of the rapid growth of nevo.ie, Ireland’s first dedicated electric vehicle (EV) platform, and the appetite amongst Irish consumers for trustworthy information about electric vehicles and their benefits.

“The first Nevo Electric Vehicle Show, held in February 2024, was the largest motor show since 2010,” explains Simon Andreucetti, Nevo Managing Director. “We turned a second event around in six months, moved to a larger venue, RDS Simmonscourt, double the size of the first event. It hosted 14 car launches, the exclusive Irish launch of the new all-electric Renault 5, plus over 240 EV test drives. The Nevo EV Shows in 2024 were a true testament to the interest the Irish marketplace has towards electric vehicles.”

Running over two days - Friday November 7th for businesses of all sizes, fleets, private and public sector attendees and Saturday November 8th for the general public. This free event offers the chance to discover all you need to know about electric motoring in Ireland.

SSE Airtricity is back as the exclusive energy partner and 34 car brands will be represented at the show. There will also be a host of exhibitors, encompassing everything from charging and solar energy to electric transport and smart home technology.

If you’ve been thinking about making the switch to an electric vehicle, for business or personal use, or you want to know more about Ireland’s electric future, the Nevo Electric Vehicle Show is the place to be.

“Ireland’s electric vehicle market is booming, with registrations up 69% in August compared to last year, and over 20,000 new EVs licensed so far in 2025 - a 37% increase year-on-year,” Simon explains. “With one in six new cars now electric, EVs are becoming the mainstream choice for both drivers and businesses.

“New models are continually emerging to suit all types of budgets, making the cost barrier to switching to an electric car a thing of the past,” he adds, noting that with new batteries delivering on average 450kms to 500kms on a single charge, ‘range anxiety’ is no longer an issue either.

Last year’s event was a huge success, so what can people expect this year? “We will deliver the same high-energy event once again in 2025,” Simon says. “Every automotive brand in the Irish marketplace will be showcasing the latest EVs in the RDS. There will be more than 120 vehicles on display, ranging across, SUVs, saloons, family, city, premium models and the latest EV hot hatches and sporty models. There really will be something there for everyone!

“The big highlights of the show will be the exclusive launch of the all-new Nissan electric Micra and brand-new Leaf,” he adds. “Both models have a strong, reliable history with Irish consumers, and we are delighted to host the official launch in the Irish market.”

There will be 30 vehicles available to test drive in the SSE Airtricity Driving Experience and, new for this year, the ESB ecars Live Demonstration area will host 12 of the latest models to hit the Irish roads. What’s more, there will be one vehicle launch or review every hour with Derek Reilly, Nevo director of content and PR and EV reviews expert. Derek will be providing in-depth reviews and insights into performance, design and features, making it the perfect chance to do some research if you’re in the market for a new vehicle.

Across the two days at the RDS, the Bank of Ireland stage will be home to an array of informative talks, keynote speakers and panel discussions across a variety of themes. “Both days will feature industry experts and thought leaders to help businesses and consumers make informed decisions about transitioning to electric mobility,” Simon explains. “On the Business Day on Friday, we will cover Electrify Your Fleet, Smart Energy in Business and Sustainability for Your Business. On Saturday, we will address Living with Electricity, Smart Energy at Home, and The Future of EVs for the general public.”

At the Friday business event, business of all sizes, fleet managers, local authorities, and public bodies will have the valuable opportunity to explore what a low-carbon, utility-focused EV fleet really means. The day will be packed with keynote speakers, panel discussions and real-life case studies from organisations that are already making the move to electric mobility. There will also be the chance to avail of expert advice on things like understanding the latest government supports, tax incentives, and policy developments relating to EV adoption.

The Saturday event, which is open to all, is a real day of discovery about all things EV. Attendees will be able to learn more about a full range of services designed to support the switch to electric. Curious about charging options? Discover what’s available for home, work, and on the road, along with the latest solar tech and battery storage, not to mention e-bikes and scooters. Experts will also be on hand to share information on finance options, insurance and everything that makes EV ownership simple and cost-effective.

“By expanding to two days, we can tailor the Nevo EV Show to different audiences,” says Fionn McGarvey, Nevo marketing lead. “Friday’s Business Day is focused on educating companies, fleets, and the public sector on electrification strategies and sustainability in the nation’s drive toward a net-zero future, while Saturday’s Consumer Day gives those ready to go electric – as well as families and drivers curious about electric motoring – the chance to explore the latest EV models and discover everything they need to make a confident switch. Each day offers a unique mix of vehicles and insights, tailored to the needs of its audience.” With free admission, unrivalled access to industry experts, family-friendly features, and exclusive previews of Ireland’s electric future, this is an event not to be missed!
