Darts will continued to be shown on Sky Sports until at least 2030 after the broadcaster announced a new five-year deal with the Professional Darts Corporation.
Viewing figures have surged in the last 12 months following the emergence of teenage star Luke Littler, with his 2024 World Championship final loss to Luke Humphries enjoying the highest ever peak for a non-football event on Sky Sports, with 3.71 million tuning in.
The new deal means live coverage from the World Championship, Premier League, World Matchplay, Grand Slam of Darts, World Grand Prix and World Cup of Darts will continue on the channel.
PDC chief executive Matt Porter said: “Sky Sports has been by our side for over 30 years and we’re excited to extend our partnership for the next five years as we experience a surge in growth globally.
