MUNSTER JUNIOR CUP: Presentation Brothers Cork enjoyed a huge territorial advantage in yesterday's Munster Schools Junior Cup semi-final at Thomond Park but in the end lost to the holders, Ard Scoil Rís, who will meet CBC in the final.
The Cork side went ahead with a try by prop Chris O'Donovan after three minutes but were rocked shortly afterwards when Ard Scoil had a try by captain David Toomey, which was converted by Declan O'Rahily.
PBC dominated from there to the interval but managed only a penalty by their captain, Scott Deasy, with the last kick of the half.
The only score of the second half was the decisive try for Ard Scoil, by second-row forward Gerard Leyden.
