Argentina will be without their influential openside wing forward Juan Manuel Leguizamon for tomorrow evening's crunch under-21 World Cup match against Ireland in Glasgow.

Leguizamon, described by coach Fabian Turnes as "the closest thing we have to Olivier Magne in Argentina", was shown a straight red card for a retaliatory head-butt in his country's victory over Italy on Thursday.

Senior Italian international Mirco Bergamasco was also sent off for his part in the incident and both players were given one-match bans by the IRB disciplinary committee.

After beating Tonga in the first round of pool games, Ireland resumed training yesterday without any serious injury complaints.

Wales also take on South Africa at the same venue (Dumbreck) tomorrow night but the main event is undoubtedly the Ireland-Argentina clash as the victors will be in a prime position to progress to the semi-finals.
