The Argentine duo of Angel Cabrera and Anders Romero have confirmed their participation in the BMW PGA Championship to be played at Wentworth after next week's Irish Open in Adare Manor.
Cabrera became the first Argentine winner of the US Open at Oakmont Country Club last year when he fended off the challenges of Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk.
The 38-year-old will also look to repeat his BMW PGA win of three years ago when he shot a final round 67 to beat Ireland's Paul McGinley. Cabrera was also runner-up 2001 and 2004.
Cabrera will be joined at Wentworth by compatriot Romero, who will hope to build on his joint eighth finish at this year's Masters at Augusta.
The 26-year-old, who graduated from the European Challenge Tour in 2005, came to prominence when he finished third behind Pádraig Harrington and Sergio Garcia in last year's British Open at Carnoustie.
The following week he captured his maiden European Tour title at The Deutsche Bank Players' Championship of Europe before emulating that feat with his first success on the PGA Tour after winning this year's Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
Darren Clarke will be attempting something of a BMW double after he captured his first European Tour title in five years at last month's BMW Asian Open in Shanghai.
"If anything, my win has given me renewed vigour to carry on and keep working because I want more of this," said Clarke at the time of winning. "To put the work in and get a bit out again feels good.
Harrington will not be competing at Wentworth as the event doesn't fit into his planned schedule in the run up to the US Open at Torrey Pines in mid June.
