Preview Royal Ascot: Attraction was bound to come under close scrutiny from punters looking for reasons why she should not win today's Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, but the fact remains that she stands head and shoulders above everything on form.

Mark Johnston's filly is unbeaten in seven career starts and this season has notched an unprecedented Classic double, claiming both the UltimateBet.com 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Irish equivalent at the Curragh.

After blazing a trail at Newmarket, Attraction proved last time that her basic cruising speed can have them off the bridle, and jockey Kevin Darley felt there was a bit more to come after her length beating of Alexander Goldrun. Illustrious Miss (third), Kinnaird (fourth), Secret Charm (fifth) and Majestic Desert (seventh) face her again today and although some of those are open to improvement, there is no real reason to think they can get the better of this remarkable filly.

Barati will relish the step up to a mile and a half in the Group Two King Edward VII Stakes.

John Oxx's colt was beaten a length in third behind Meath in the Gallinule Stakes on his last start but he just got tapped for toe, suggesting he will find a bit more with a longer trip. Despite being a son of Sadler's Wells, the quicker ground at the Curragh didn't seem to trouble him and he should be on the premises here.
