TENNIS/DIGEST:Bjorn Borg is to miss his first return to grass court action in 26 years after being savaged by a dog called The Wolf.
The five-time Wimbledon winner was to play a legends match against Australian Pat Cash at a tournament in Liverpool next week.
It would have been the first time he had played singles on grass since retiring after his famous defeat to John McEnroe in the 1981 Wimbledon final.
But he was bitten on the right leg by The Wolf, a friend's Alsatian, at a barbecue at his home outside Stockholm on Saturday afternoon.
Borg (51), said: "It is unbelievable. I am really disappointed. I have been playing for the last four months to prepare and was really looking forward to playing on grass again."
