Leinster Junior Cup/Presentation, Bray 15 Castleknock 10:A try by Rory Breslin in the sixth minute of injury-time completed a magnificent comeback by Presentation, Bray, at Donnybrook yesterday, in the Leinster Junior Cup. The match seemed destined for a replay until Alan Dempsey broke the cover before offloading to his second row partner.
Castleknock College edged a tight first half but they will be disappointed not to have added to a single Dermot Colreavy penalty in the 12th minute.
Captain Dermot O'Riordan crashed over the line for what appeared to be the opening try just before half-time but referee Dermot O'Mahoney rightly awarded a five-metre scrum.
Five minutes into the second-half Castleknock's Eoin Graham scored a superb try. After receiving the ball 35 metres out, he took off on a run before showing great strength to make it over the line. Peter Duggan hit back with a penalty for Pres but they still looked destined to finish a close second.
Not so. With a minute left they managed to lift the siege on their own line and after several rumbles forward captain Jason Harris-Wright powered over. Duggan levelled the contest from the conversion. Colreavy had a chance to win it for Castleknock three minutes into injury-time but his long-range penalty fell short, before the tables were turned at the death.
