Sweden's Magnus Carlsson emerged victorious at the Challenge of Ireland at Glasson following a tremendous final round battle with Michael Lorenzo-Vera of France.
Two shots clear at the start of the day, Carlsson and Lorenzo-Vera exchanged blows throughout a thrilling contest that came down to the very last putt of the tournament.
The lead changed hands three times before Carlsson sunk a 50 foot birdie putt on the 13th that, coupled with Lorenzo-Vera's bogey, saw the Swede move ahead.
He would never relinquish that lead and closed out for a one shot victory with his final round of 70 completing a ten under par 278 aggregate score.
David Mortimer, the 2006 Irish PGA champion, finished as leading Irishman. The Connemara man was tied for 13th on two under par 286 following a final round 69.
Antrim's Gareth Maybin finished a shot behind Mortimer, with Shinrone's Justin Kehoe was a further stroke back.
