Munster MHC First round: Five points in the final six minutes brought Cork from a point behind to beat Waterford at the end of an absorbing match at Walsh Park last night.

The winners led by 0-7 to 0-5 at the interval but a great goal by midfielder Jamie Nagle put Waterford ahead six minutes into the second period.

From there it was nip and tuck until the game's top scorer Pat Cronin (two) and Brendan Ring (three) sent over unanswered points as Cork took charge in the dying minutes.
