Cushendall 2-10 Loughgiel 0-15: Cushendall captured the Antrim hurling title after beating Loughgeil by the tightest of margins at Casement Park yesterday.

Conor McCambridge was the ace in the Cushendall pack as he struck for two goals and as many points. The eventual winners were sharper in the opening half, after which they led 1-5 to 0-5.

Loughgiel steadied themselves in the second half and Liam Watson struck six consecutive points to give his side a 0-12 to 1-8 lead after 48 minutes.

McCambridge scored his second goal with 10 minutes remaining and it turned out to be the decisive score.
