RACING: Following a pair of gallant efforts in both the French and Irish 1,000 Guineas, Wrong Key looks set to hit the Group Two scoreboard in today's Hunston Pretty Polly Stakes.

This race provided classic compensation for Wrong Key's stable companion Rebelline and yet again the three-year-olds can come out ahead of the older fillies.

Godolphin's Spring Oak and the Newmarket scorer, Tarfshi, head the elders but it could be the Ballydoyle pair, Kournakova and Pietra Dura, that threaten most.

"We have always liked Kournakova and Kevin Darley said at Epsom that a pair of visors would suit her. Pietra Dura will wear them too," Aidan O'Brien said yesterday.

A mile and a quarter on ground with a little juice in it should be ideal for Wrong Key, however, and that can help swing things her way.

Former Curragh Cup winners Chimes At Midnight and Quality Team have another crack at the Group Three but should have to give best to the former double Derby runner-up Daliapour.

The Stoute runner may not be in the Group One-winning pomp of two years ago but the ground will suit Kinane's mount and so will the trip.

Catcher In The Rye looked a colt full of promise when third on his debut in a listed race at Leopardstown and should prove too strong in the opener.

Nashwan Rose's last start was in the Italian Oaks. Away from Group One company, the Clonmel winner may be the pick in the mile and a quarter handicap.
