TEAM NEWS:DONEGAL HAVE named an unchanged team for tomorrow's Ulster football semi-final against Tyrone.
The champions name centrefielder Rory Kavanagh, who missed out the last day because of injury, on the bench and manager Jim McGuinness makes a couple of positional switches, but the same 15 as comfortably defeated Derry are set to line out.
Opponents Tyrone are also unchanged.
Full back Justin McMahon has survived an injury scare and will line out for the match in Clones. Wing forward Ronan McNabb has also been given the all clear, as manager Mickey Harte give a vote of confidence to the team that beat Armagh in the previous round.
Meanwhile, Meath will have to take on Kildare in Sunday’s Leinster football semi-final at Croke Park without injured full back Kevin Reilly, who injured his Achilles tendon in the win over Carlow.
He is replaced by Ciarán Lenehan, with Brian Menton moving to the edge of the square and Lenehan coming in at corner back.
Manager Séamus McEnaney says that Reilly’s recovery period is still uncertain, but that the Ireland international will play no part on Sunday.
David Murphy is back to captain Wexford footballers in the Leinster football semi-final against Dublin on the Croke Park double bill.
Murphy missed the two games against Longford after he was hospitalised with blood poisoning. He will line out at centre back with Brian Malone moving to corner back and Niall Murphy reverting to the bench.
All Star nominee Ciarán Lyng returns to the attack at corner forward in place of PJ Banville, having recovered from a groin injury. In the half-forward line, Paddy Byrne is selected in place of Conor Carty.
Armagh footballers have brought back Paul Duffy to fill in for the injured Aaron Kernan in the only change to the side that lost to Tyrone in the Ulster quarter-final earlier this month.
Finally, the Connacht Council announced last night that next month’s provincial football final between Mayo and Sligo will take place in Hyde Park, Roscommon, on July 15th at 2pm.
The GAA Museum Legends Tour Series returns to Croke Park for a fifth season in the weeks ahead.
