Munster MFC Semi-finals/Limerick 0-11 Kerry 2-5:Colm Downes was the saviour for Limerick with a last-gasp injury-time leveller against Kerry in an absorbing match at the Gaelic Grounds yesterday.

The home side showed their powers of recovery when they bounced back after conceding a goal to Patrick Curtin scored a mere 20 seconds after the throw-in.

Ian Ryan scored three frees for Limerick and it was 1-2 to 0-5 at the break.

There was only a single score between them entering the final quarter, 1-5 to 0-5, and Kerry may have felt that a final place beckoned after Eoin Kennedy soloed through for a second goal.
