Quay Celtic 3 Drumcondra 4: Drumcondra won this all-Leinster Senior League FAI Cup game when they staged a dramatic recovery to win after having been two goals down against Quay Celtic at Jim Clancy Park, Dundalk.

Quay took the lead after eight minutes. Midfielder Alan Browne fired home a 20-metre volley to the net after Com Smart's cross had only been half cleared.

Quay then went two up eight minutes into the second half. Alan Larkin went on a 20-metre run before firing an unstoppable shot to the net from the edge of the box.

Drumcondra's response was rapid and within two minutes they were back in the game.

Neil Doyle's corner on the right was badly cleared and Mark Finn shot home from just inside the penalty area.

Drumcondra then went on to win the game in a dramatic nine-minute spell.

They levelled the game on 69 minutes when Derek Quinlan fired a free-kick to the net from the edge of the area.

Two minutes later they were in front when David Shanley drove an 18-yard shot to the net.

Quay were level within two minutes when Chris Malone's cross from the left was volleyed home by Kieran Dunne.

Drumcondra scored the winning goal in the 78th minute when Neil Doyle got his foot to a cross and ball found its way to the net.
